Swimming @cempaka. :)

So, playing sports out in the Sun has completely bored me and well, the field's always wet and muddy nowadays so I don't really go out there much. :/

BUT, have no fear, i still have fun in the sun! :) teehee. well, i did la.

I swam a lot in school. SWAM being past tense because I dont want to anymore because I keep getting burnt. :(

Haha, like, seriously! :) So, like, right now, I dont do anything in school cept sit on the floor and talk or play pingpong! which, is super cool la! especially street ping pong where there are NO rules and like, we have kings and everything! :P yes, we dont have anything better to do :D

Anyways, i'm being a total sloth now and avoiding any outdoor activities and im gonna stay inside till im white like an albino again. HAHA :)

Oh, and everyone's done with their cbl. :) SO, the schools gonna be so much more livelier and happier now! YAY! :D

I'm sorry I've been so mia on my blog! :/ Been super busy with school stuff eventhough pmr's over and everything.. i'm more tired than ever now -.- organizing and all,but like, it's still worth the effort and everything, because, everything's been sooper fun so far and i hope it stays that way!!

So, one of our school trips was to go to Dorani! :) it's at Kuala Selangor, btw. The night before, I was dreading going off to the place because our teachers told us we had to dredge through the paddy fields and what not and i was scared shiteless that i was gonna get bitten by a leech! THEY creep me out! you have no idea :(

Anyways, we arrived at the place after about a 2-2.30 hour bus ride which was really squishy because like, extra people wanted to go and like, we didnt have enough seats. :(

They served us brunch and what not and then we proceeded to go like, 'tumbuk padi' Haha. The orang utans won this event because our rice wasnt super smashed like the other groups! haha, the stuff they used in the olden days, were SO heavy :( paddy field workers must've been suuper strong. :( envy.

We had like, a batik painting competition, which i thoroughly enjoyed and then we went to makan kampung style! with our hands and on some tikar thing. :) The food there, was SO GOOD! :d esp the sambal belacan and kangkung! they're must tries man. Seriously! :) After lunch, the muslim guys had to go pray and so, we took pictures while waiting for them to finish! :)

Arent the paddy fields soo purdy? :) HAHA. omg, i feel so high right now so i'm sorry if my post is a bit off la. :P OH, the highlight of the day, was when we went to go catch 'ikan keli' also known as CATFISH! :) haha, im proud to say, that like, i caught one. :) with my bare hands man! bahaha, their super slimy and slippery and i was screaming the whole way through the thing. :(

The pond was super muddy so like, we all went to swim in the tali air to drench off the mud and stuff. :)

You should've seen us all after the catfishing man. hahah, brian had a mud mask and everything :P

Okay, we left dorani and headed off to buy keropok somewhere else! it's so yummy! :)

Oh, and we stopped for mangoes on the way back too! :)

Haha, so it was such a tiring day and like, i wanted to sleep in the bus but shaz wouldnt let me. :( SIGH. he's so bossy! and, hyper. Anyways, i survived the whole two and a half hours back with him singing and jumping around without a wink of sleep. :P

Overall, dorani was super fun and like, yeah la, if you wanna experience the kampung lifestyle, it's a great place to go to :)

DeepaRaya Assembly

Another day, filled with memories to last :P Haha, gosh, i think that's why i love cempaka so much :P YES, im serious :) it's really cool in the sense that, it just has so many things planned out, that you NEVER go bored :)

So yes, today was our school's DeepaRaya assembly. :) There isnt much to say about it, cept that, well, it was fun preparing for it (LAST MINUTE i might add) and that we all tried our hardest and we hope that you enjoyed our performances. :D teehee.

I wore my sister's baju kurung. :) i think she's angry! haha, sorry sis. :) mummy said i could. But yeah, it's pretty and it feels nice, but like, im so not used to wearing long skirts that i almost ripped it when i kicked up my foot ( im manly that way. bahaha) -.- but, new experience laaa :)

I kinda mixed up my lines for our choir performance! im sorry :( OH, on the plus side, i eluded anyone who was aassigned to put make up on us. I'm sooo not a fan. haha, it's super hard to get off. :( aiyo.

Anyways, the hall was packed and everything during the assembly and people clapped and cheered for all of us :) they so nice. hahaha. One event down, another 921348190343 more to go :D

Marly's Surprise Party!

Last Sunday, we (me, nu, sim, sab, siew, laura, aminah) planned a surprise birthday party for our darling britisher, marly. :) haha, it was super stressful organizing everything, but also, super fun! :)

Teehee, because of my superb acting skills, (coughshyeahright -.-) Marly didnt suspect a thing! SUCCESS, all our hardwork paid off and everything! Haha. She came to my place and like, when she arrived and we wished her, she was completely stunned. hahaha, it was so funny! (: all she did was like, stare into space for a minute or so! :P Anyways, after the surprise and everything, we ate pizza, which her mum sponsored and then, it was time for GAMES :)

and, can you believe it, musical chairs! the name game and a few others :) hahah, if you wanna know how to play them just ask me la :P then i might write a post about it because, those games, are seriously damn fun :) Yes, they arent exactly the most grown up of games, but who cares! :)

We were all sweating a lot after and so, we decided to go in, blow the cake and just chill :)

Just came back from a really dirty session of frisbee. :( The field was all wet and muddy and sandy. Yew eng kept jumping into puddles infront of me and kicking sand all over me -.-

Anyways, we all went to skytrex too today! :) Pictures are with ali! so these are mine, before i chucked my camera into my bag because i was too chicken to bring it up with me. heh. :)

So yes, skytrex was really really good! :)

We got there around 9.30, harnessed up and started to climb at around 10 something! :)

Being adventurous and all, we took the extreme course. The latest and most challenging one. :( kanasai, damn hard la. hahahahahahahah. The ladders (see picture) we had to climb were k.i.l.l.e.r. Like, seriously! and there wasn't just one of those really high up ones : ( there were quite a few! and, even one which was super narrow! After climbing a few of those, my arms felt like jelly :( Anyways, we were pretty high up, according to en. rahman, it was 22 metres or so. :)

So, we started off the thing with a training session by one of the staff members on a little kiddy kinda course. :) heh. it looked so easypeasy so i thought the rest of the course would be like that. but boy, was i wrong! we moved on to the actual thing which started with 3 consecutive flying foxes. Wemoved from platform to platform! haha, i went up ahead with laura, shaz, hiqdan, ash(who finished like, damn fast. wtf) , nura and aminah!

After the flying foxes, we had to pass through a few obstacles la. Like, jumping from barrel to barrel, walking on a tight rope and even monkey bars, high on the trees. The monkey bars were so hard :( seeing that it came so close to after we climbed another ladder! ladder's are horrible :( rope ones with pipe. aiyo :( not in the sense that they were gross and like, untaken care of, but like in the damn hard to climb way. as you can see, i hold a huge grudge against those things. :( AND, i got rope burn from the monkey bars because my gloves slipped off the thing and like, yeah, i fell. -.-

Haha, so after finishing like a quarter of the course, we loosened up a bit and felt super chill and started to play a fool a lot. hahaha :) i fell off the ropes loadsa times and was swinging around on them like i didnt have a care in the world.

Overall, the course was a bit tiring, and me and laura were super thirsty most of the time, but we still managed to finish it! hahaha, the best obstacle was the swinging on the rope to another rope and place one. it's one of the last obstacles! :) ooh, i suggest you choose that path if you like having fun and you arent afraid of heights and falling! hahaha, i fell the most on that one! it's so hard. (: but fun! i felt like tarzan! woooh! :) but dont worry! there's still a different path with pretty interesting obstacles for those who dont wanna do that :)

After finishing the course, we waited about 2/3 hours for everyone else to come down! :) hahah, aminah told a sick joke. but twas really funnny :)

okay, so, what did the hurricane say to the coconut tree? :).

To end the day, we had chicken rice for lunch. We had to eat with our hands though! which was pretty disgusting la. I mean, im not against people who eat with their hands or anything... It's just that, all our hands were pretty dirty from touching all the obstacles and stuff. But, we were all starving so we ate anyways :P HAHAH, i bet now you think we're icky for doing that but you're wrong! teehee, we sanitized and washed our hand with water so it was okayokay la. :P we just didnt have soap so yeah.

To sum it up, it was super fun and interesting la! and those who didnt go, should regret! coughbriangaojyephilipdanielzaishengbrandoncough! :) anyways, i do recommend it to anybody who wants to have fun! :)
